How to read a certificate of analysis
A certificate of analysis is the laboratory report for one lot. On this site the file is the PDF linked from the product page and from Testing results. A summary on the page is not a substitute for that file.
Check four things against the vial in front of you. The lot id on the PDF should match the lot id on the listing. The compound name should match. The fill or assay result is the measured content, which can differ from the nominal label size. The method, often HPLC, is how the lab measured it.
Purity on a chromatogram is not a claim about biological effect. The certificate does not say the material is a drug, and it does not authorize human or veterinary use.
If the lot id on the file does not match the lot id on the page, do not treat them as the same batch. Email the lot id and we will post the matching file or take the size off sale.
Research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
